Finding the driver at U-Tapao
Leave the terminal by the main exit and walk about 100 metres to the 7-Eleven shop. The driver stands there with a sign showing your name. The airport is small, so the walk is short, but a flight number in the form lets the driver follow your landing and wait if it is late.

Why U-Tapao suits Koh Samet
The airport is in Rayong province, on the same side of Bangkok as Ban Phe, so the trip avoids the capital and its traffic. The drive is 60 km and takes about 1 h, and the road passes through Ban Chang and Rayong city.
If your flight lands before 16:00, you can usually be on a boat the same afternoon.
Which pier
Pick the pier from the drop-down list in the form, the same one printed on your boat ticket. When you have no ticket, ask your resort on the island, or look at the piers of Ban Phe.
