Ao Lung Dam Beach, Koh Samet
Ao Lung Dam is a small quiet bay just south of Ao Thian, with white sand, rocks that curve around the water and a wooden fishing pier. It has few visitors, and the sun can be seen rising and setting from the same spot.

A small bay
The beach is short, with bungalows and small resorts at the back and beachside restaurants. Visitors come for the calm water, the walk along the rocks and the viewpoints. It is less crowded than the beaches further north.
Fishing gear can be rented at the beach.
The way there
Take the ferry from Ban Phe to the island pier, then a songthaew towards Ao Thian, about 2 km, and a short walk to the bay. For the crossing, buy a ferry ticket at the pier: 70 THB one way, 120 THB return per person, 30 to 40 minutes, boats daily from 08:00 to 18:00.

Choosing the pier
Ask your resort which pier its boat uses, and select it in the form. The piers page lists them all. Total time from the mainland to the bay is about 40 to 50 minutes once you are on the boat, plus the songthaew ride.
